Dr. Maryse Hayek

Maryse Hayek holds a Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) in Clinical and Pathological Psychology from the University of Paris Descartes, France and a PhD in Psychology from Saint Joseph University, Beirut (2003) where she is a lecturer.
She is also an Assistant Professor at the Lebanese University where she teaches Medical Psychology to medical students.

.../> Dr Hayek has over 25 years of experience in clinical psychology. She is specialized in addiction disorders and works with anxiety and mood disorders.

She is author and co-author of several publications on addiction, memory disorders and cognitive functions. She is also the co-founder of Groupe Mémoire de Recherche Clinique (GMRC-Liban).

Dr Hayek joined recently the Department of Psychiatry of the American University of Beirut Medical Center as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist
